Allow me to introduce you to my beautiful wife, Tracy. Tracy has spent much of her adult life as a professional business woman working for large companies across the US. She has had the opportunity to live the “big city life” across the country moving to Washington D.C., Seattle, and even New York City. After deciding to drastically change direction in her professional career, Tracy entered into the fitness industry and attained certifications in order to start training individuals to help them pursue a healthier lifestyle.
Tracy was living in San Antonio and I in Houston when we met. We spent the next 5 months taking turns driving to see each other almost every weekend. Before we had met, my wife had been considering joining the Army Reserves and her departure for basic training was certainly the first test of a young relationship. While she was away, we exchanged letters constantly and she called whenever she was able. Though we were apart, we continued to grow closer; so much so that when she returned home we decided to move in together in an apartment in Houston. After a year of living together, we were married on September 18, 2010.
Around this time, my wife had discovered how much she loved photography and editing photos. Being self-taught, it amazed me at how quickly she was able to master the DSLR camera and Adobe Photoshop in such a short amount of time. By late 2011, Tracy was receiving requests for photo shoots and her small business, Tracy McKithern Photography, was born. Thanks to my wife’s love of photography, I also pursued my own interests in web design. Now, my wife is not only a photographer at home with her own business, but she is also a Combat Camera Photographer for the U.S. Army Reserves.
